Jacob Hanbin Eun


Jacob is a Methodist born and bred. He graduated from University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Psychology in 2012, Drew Theological School with a Master of Divinity in 2015, and Princeton Theological Seminary with a Master of Theology with a concentration in New Testament in 2016. Along the way, Pastor Jacob served children’s, youth, and young adult ministries. He is passionate about sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ and desiring to grow together in every way into Christ. It is his sincere prayer to channel the love and grace of God through his life and ministry onto others.

Adrienne Kern

Children’s Ministry Director 

Adrienne Kern joined the Sunday School team in 2017. She loves sharing God’s love with the children and families. Adrienne’s faith journey was re-born with her daughter and led her family to joining the United Methodist Church. God changed her life through the ministry of the church and is blessed with the privilege of serving as the Director of Children’s Ministry at Gaylordsville United Methodist Church. No rookie when it comes to ministry experience, prior to Gaylordsville United Methodist Church, she served as the Sunday School Superintendent and Vacation Bible School Craft Leader at New Milford United Methodist Church.

Karen Borenman

Office Manager 

Originally from New York, she moved to CT 20 years ago and has been working at the Gaylordsville church for over 15 years, as church secretary, bookkeeper and currently as its office manager.  She also holds another part-time job at the Sherman Library.  Her husband Ben is  a retired IT contract manager.  They have one son, Nathaniel, who is working on his Ph.D in geology at Arizona State University.
